Well we re pleased to tell you that your patience has finally paid off. We mostly cy worked so hard on that fireplace surround so it was great for us to read all the great positive feedback. That fireplace makeover was literally our first diy project and there were some imperfections that had begun to show so it was time for it to go. Next was caulk nail screw filler sanding and priming since the crown molding was prefinished cherry wood we made sure the surface was clean and then used zinsser bin shellac primer this primer adheres really well and sands beautifully.

As a quick story behind this makeover back in 2018 i decided to change the current tile on the fireplace that we installed over the brick back in 2012.
